Being Still

This summer this group of ladies read Life Interrupted, learned a lot about responding to transition and A LOT about our own response to God. We celebrated that time with a day of lunch and pottery painting. We laughed, took our painting WAY too seriously, and reflected on the week ahead. It’s game week, and a new year has FINALLY begun! Earlier this summer I created this handout for our group. It is (on the left) a compilation of all the different ways God had been reminding me the “Be Still” and on the right an exercise in having “glass half full” thoughts. Our pottery was similar to the glass in this handout. We will walk through this season (whatever is in store) holding our mugs, remembering a fun day, a summer of learning, and a challenge in attitude and speech.
