Favorite June Reads

Untitled design (5)

I’m taking a break next week, but I couldn’t leave without highlighting some of my favorite reads on the internet in June.

If you haven’t joined the summer book club yet you still have time! Jamie Ivey is one of my favorite podcasters and I loved her June book club choice The Turquoise Table. It was a quick read, and I’m hoping the same is true of July’s book. There is still time to join us!

Thanks to Jessica Turner for posting these So Yummy Meatball Sliders!

For the first time ever I have dreams of being able to take an interrupted family vacation over Spring Break! Tips for Saving Money with a Vacation Rental is one of many blogs I’m looking at these days.

Although this isn’t our current phase in life, I’m loving my friend Andrea’s new blogging adventure. Notherhood is written for moms of adult children. I’ve learned over the years that there is much wisdom to learn from mothers just a bit further down the trail than I am.

Margaret Feinberg is hosting a summer study and my friend Terri and I are participating. Overcomer came along at the perfect time for both of us. This is another summer event you still have time to jump in on! It’s 4 weeks long.

Instagram helped me to finally find the courage to try making cold brew coffee at home (yep I’m late to the party again) and I’m thrilled with the results!
