Newsletter

Every month I send a newsletter somewhere between the last few days of the month that has just ended or the first few days of the month we are entering. The goal is to sit down and catch my breath for a few minutes. I often realize there are a few things I really wanted to share with my readers that never made it to social media or my blog. Many have deadlines and I don’t want my favorite people to miss out on the best freebies or a new amazing author who is launching a book.

I’ll take a few moments to offer a behind-the-scenes look at what is happening in and around our lives and I’ll also pull a few links from my favorite posts, podcast interviews, and other events that happened over the previous month. If you don’t have a lot of time to spend on social media my newsletter will ensure you note the best of what’s happening over at Lessons from the Sidelines each month!

Be the first to hear the latest news and make sure you never miss the most important events from the previous month when you sign up for my monthly newsletter.

Finish Strong in 2021: A Calendar and SMART Goals Strategy to Avoid Burnout and Thrive

I’ve learned that there are seasons of life that are easier to walk through when we focus on taking the next step rather than looking for the end of the path. There are five months left in 2021, and for many of us, we’re discovering that we have to re-learn how to juggle multiple commitments and daily life at home.

In the past, my solution to handle the intense seasons was to place my needs, wants, and dreams last. But do you know what would eventually happen? I would end up resenting my situation.

So, now, I take time to re-evaluate my commitments and goals. Then, I figure out how I can continue to thrive in my calling even if I have to reduce the energy and time I put toward that part of my weekly calendar momentarily.

I hope you’ll find the questions and activities I’ve complied here helpful as you consider how to finish strong in 2021.
